Karla
Prayer, listening & women's ministry · DOK Global Governance team
On Karla's first mission trip, God opened her eyes to the plight of women and children in other nations. She spent two decades working with international aid organisations rescuing women and children from the sex-trade industry, travelling to advocate on television, radio, college campuses and in churches. She raised her children in Thailand for seven years, while leading teams, establishing programmes and opening safe homes.
Karla's personal story is one of redemption and restoration. Abandoned at birth and left in a hospital, much of Karla's childhood was marked by feelings of rejection and a search for love. By the age of sixteen, she found herself pregnant and kicked out of home. A downward spiral of drug addiction, solo-parenting and domestic violence ensued until she surrendered her life to Jesus at twenty-two.
Karla now lives on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, is happily remarried with six grown children and eight grandchildren. As part of DOK Global Governance, she is dedicated to helping women know their identity, walk in their authority, and embrace their Kingdom assignment with Godfidence.

Simone Leslie is a Christian Master Neuro Strategist, TV host, speaker, and author. Beginning her career as a television presenter on Good Morning Australia, for nearly three decades now, she has presented to millions through national TV and live audiences across the globe.
Her focus is to help leaders address the lies stored in neural programs that cause subconscious sabotage hindering God's Kingdom, as well as their own assignment, love, and authority. She brings practical wisdom of Spirit-led science.

Simone's expertise in this field is grounded in real-life experience. With her husband David, they have built and funded orphanages, childcare, schools and water projects to transform communities in Cambodia, Zambia, Ethiopia and Kenya.
